These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases, transactions, and commercial engagements involving WOW Makers, whether placed via our webshop (www.wearewowmakers.com), by email, in-person, or through third parties. By placing an order or accepting a quote, the customer agrees to these terms in full.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Consumer”: A natural person not acting in a professional or commercial capacity.
“Customer”: A natural or legal person placing an order with WOW Makers.
“WOW Makers”: A trade name of Studio Anoukb, located at Van der Vinnestraat 14ZW, 2023 AH Haarlem, The Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 34205306.
“Products”: All items sold through the WOW Makers (web)shop or resellers, including stucco paints, Dune Dust, tools, and accessories.
2. OFFERS & PRICING
All offers are non-binding and subject to availability.
Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
WOW Makers is not liable for obvious errors or misprints in product descriptions or pricing.
3. ORDERING
Orders are confirmed via email or webshop.
WOW Makers reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of suspected fraud or misuse.
4. DELIVERY & LIABILITY
Orders are shipped with care via recognized third-party carriers.
Once tracking confirms delivery, WOW Makers is no longer liable for lost packages.
Customers are responsible for receiving and storing products under appropriate conditions (e.g., not below 5°C). WOW Makers is not liable for damage resulting from improper storage.
WOW Makers is not responsible for delivery delays once an order has been handed over to a third-party carrier. Stated delivery times are indicative and do not entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation in case of delay.
5. COLOUR & APPLICATION DISCLAIMER
Colours on screen and sample cards may vary from the final result depending on substrate, lighting, and application technique.
Our stucco paints are artisanal finishes; slight variation is part of their intended aesthetic.
WOW Makers is not liable for dissatisfaction resulting from color perception or application outcome.
Touch-ups may result in visible variation due to lighting, surface age, tool type, or environmental conditions. Even though WOW Paints are generally easy to maintain or retouch, WOW Makers does not guarantee an identical finish after partial repairs or repaints.
The final look of the product is partially dependent on site conditions and the method of application. Use is at the customer’s own risk.
We recommend testing with sample cards or pots before placing full orders.
6. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
All WOW Makers Stucco Paints and Dune Dust are made to order. These items are custom-blended and non-returnable.
Color dissatisfaction, surface compatibility, or application outcomes do not qualify for return.
Non-custom products (e.g., tools or unopened accessories) may be returned within 14 days of receipt, at the customer’s expense.
Items purchased on sale or colour cards are non-refundable.
Due to the artisanal nature of Dune Dust and other mineral additives, structural variation, surface openness, or transfer may occur if incorrectly applied. This is not considered a defect.
WOW Makers is not responsible for inaccurate information or claims made by third-party resellers.
7. APPLICATION & ADVICE LIABILITY
WOW Makers may offer informal advice or suggestions regarding the use of its products, including demonstrations on-site.
Such advice is non-binding and does not transfer responsibility for the outcome of any application. Full responsibility for surface preparation, technique, and execution lies with the applicator or contractor.
WOW Makers is not liable for any staining, damage, or poor finish resulting from incorrect application, tool choice, surface condition, or failure to follow instructions.
WOW Makers is also not responsible for final results where touch-ups result in visible changes, regardless of whether the applicator claims full effort or experience.
WOW Makers is not a party to any agreement between the customer and an external applicator or painter. Communication and responsibility for execution lie entirely with the hired party.
Unless a material fault is proven, WOW Makers accepts no liability for claims after a final site visit or assessment has taken place.
8. DAMAGE & COMPLAINTS
Inspect your order upon delivery. Report visible damage within 48 hours with clear photos to hello@wearewowmakers.com.
WOW Makers is not liable for any consequential losses or costs due to misapplication, delay, or product misunderstanding.
Approved refunds or replacements are issued only after review.
9. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is due immediately upon checkout. We accept iDEAL and other secure payment gateways.
For business clients with a separate agreement, custom payment terms may apply.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content (text, images, copywriting, product designs) is owned by WOW Makers or used with permission.
Reproduction or reuse without written permission is strictly prohibited.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
WOW Makers is not liable for any delay or failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to transportation delays, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, natural disasters, IT failures, or strikes.
